What's New For the 2022 Nissan Altima?

The Nissan Altima has been in production since 1992, with many changes and updates being made over the years. The latest 2022 model is going to see just a few changes, such as the addition of the Midnight Edition option to the SR trim level. It's a more sophisticated option with dark accents on the exterior. An SV Premium package is also available now, and it provides heated mirrors on the exterior along with turn signals that use LED technology.

2022 Nissan Altima Trims & Features

The base S model for the 2022 Nissan Altima lineup is the most affordable and basic, but we're often recommending the SR trim level as a starting point. It has a lot more standard features included, such as upgraded 19-inch wheels, the steering wheel is wrapped in leather, you can connect your smartphone to your vehicle using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto connectivity, and the power-adjustable front seat moves in eight directions. The Premium package can be added to the different trim levels for even more luxury (heated exterior mirrors and heated front seats).

2022 Nissan Altima Horsepower

 Nissan has included a 2.5-liter engine with four cylinders under the hood of their 2022 Nissan Altima. It provides access to a continuously variable transmission and all-wheel drive. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with turbocharging is also available if you want 248 horsepower.
  

2022 Nissan Altima Safety

 Nissan designs vehicles that will keep you safe as well as keep other people safe while on the road. The 2022 Altima provides standard safety features such as automatic emergency braking and forward-collision warning technology to alert you that there is a suspected impact coming up. If you are choosing an Altima that is the SV trim level or above, you get standard safety features like rear cross-traffic alerts, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic high beam headlights.
