What's new for the 2019 Nissan Sentra?

Nissan has announced that the 2019 model will be a carryover model. This means that there will be very minimal changes made to the overall look of the vehicle. Nissan has continued to improve this popular vehicle with evolutionary design and technology.

The interior of the vehicle has minimal changes. The cabin will remain spacious to accommodate all types of drivers as well as to offer the driver and the passengers infotainment options.

With minimal changes expected on the Sentra, most of the standard features will remain almost the same. It will come with its standard 16" steel wheels, keyless locks, an adjustable driver seat, air conditioning, rear view cameras, a tilt, and telescopic steering as well as other features.

Nissan has hinted that the 2019 Nissan Sentra will have a larger touchscreen for the audio system. It has been hinted that the screen size will increase from the current 5 inches to a 7 inch.

You will find six distinct trim levels, which are the S, the SV, the SR, the SL, the SR Turbo and the NISMO. There are a few variations of these related to the availability of a manual or CVT automatic transmission. The base trim is the Sentra S, and it provides you with cloth interior, manual front seat adjustments, a sound system, 16-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, cup holders, cruise control and a few other standard features. If you look at a mid-level Sentra, the SL comes with automatic climate control, power windows and locks, an integrated navigation system, distance pacing with the cruise control, 17-inch aluminum wheels and most of the standard features found in lower trim levels. The NISMO trim has a few other performance-based features as well as a large touchscreen display and 18-inch NISMO aluminum wheels.

2019 Nissan SentraNissan made very few changes under the hood. The base engine for the Sentra is a 1.8L four-cylinder engine that produces 130HP with a torque of 128 lb-ft. The Sentra can come with the second option of a 1.6 liter with a turbocharger that produces 188 horsepower with a torque output of 177 lb-ft. the vehicle comes with a standard six-speed manual transmission. A continuously variable transmission is available.
