The 2018 Nissan Rogue is Nissan's newest vehicle in their lineup for the year and the most recent addition in the Rogue series. The Rogue is a pretty standard crossover vehicle that has a few changes from the Rogue from the previous year, such as having an optional ProPilot Assist feature inside. This feature is basically able to automatically self-accelerate, brake or steer the car on its own depending on the traffic conditions, such as bad weather. Another change is that the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features are now automatically included for all model versions of the car.
The 2018 Rogue has its own set of different trim levels complete with special features and amenities to make it a more enjoyable ride. The Rogue comes with three trim levels, the S, SV and SL. The S is the standard version of the Rogue, which has all the typical features such as 17-inch steel wheels, a rear view camera, Bluetooth access and a 7-inch touchscreen. The SV model is upgraded with the addition of 17-inch alloy wheels but also adds features like new roof rails, mirrors with heated sides, heated front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control for people in the front and backseat. The SL trim takes this even further with 18-inch wheels being the norm, in addition to other amenities like automatic high beam lights, a leather upholstery coating, a navigation and surround-view camera system and a NissanConnect emergency system for serious incidents.
The 2018 Rogue comes with special safety features and regulations to ensure that it is a safe ride for both drivers and passengers. Being a vehicle that can seat up to five people, the Rogue does have the typical safety precautions factored us, such as child seating anchors and rear door safety locks for the younger, smaller passengers. Other features that have been added include a pre-collision and post-collision safety system to help review the status and condition of the vehicle in the event that an accident takes place. Improved stability and traction are included with the new version of the Nissan Rogue and an emergency braking assist feature is one of the many additions to help out with this. A blind spot warning system has also now a feature in order to help drivers avoid accidents because of their blind spots.
