2022 Nissan LEAF Lineup Highlights

Generating up to 110 kW, an AC motor entirely propels the 2022 Nissan LEAF S trim. If you follow conventional SAE mechanical specifications, this motor is rated at 147 net horsepower. When working at peak levels, the entry-level propulsion system unleashes 236 pound-feet of torque. Storing 40 kWh of electrical energy, a lithium-ion battery feeds the motor. You could use the default 6.6-kW onboard charger or 50-kW Quick Charge adapter to recharge the Li-ion battery at your convenience. A charging box isn't needed for the standard portable charging cable that works at 120 and 240 V levels. Diverting all power to the front wheels, the reduction gearbox operates on a single ratio. Running on the B-Mode or Eco Mode, this electric Nissan hatchback delivers an estimated range of 150 miles from a full charge. You'll also get premium electronic features on this base LEAF model, such as the NissanConnect center with a multi-touch display and voice recognition. Siri Eyes Free, Android Auto and Bluetooth are included in this signature multimedia hub. Additionally, the base edition has three conventional USB ports and one USB-C port. The 2022 LEAF SV shares the same powertrain and charging options as the entry-level model. You could add several premium technologies to the upgraded edition, such as the HomeLink universal transceiver and a hybrid heating system.

The 2022 LEAF S Plus boasts a 62-kWh battery pack that ensures a targeted range of 226 total miles. Delivering 214 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque, this powertrain provides a more sporty drive on any road. You can also use the 100-kW Quick Charge adapter to recharge the powerhouse in public stations. Similarly, the SV Plus and SL Plus models run on the high-output powerplant. With access to the NissanConnect EV platform, you can remotely monitor and control some of the car's settings. Some other exclusive features on the SV Plus model include the ProPILOT Assist and Door to Door Navigation. You'll get leather-appointed seats and seven speakers from the Bose Energy Efficient Series on the SL Plus edition. Additionally, all 2022 LEAF trims include active safety features from the Intelligent Mobility Shield 360 suite.
