What's New For the 2020 Nissan Murano?
The Nissan Murano made significant changes in 2019. Therefore, it does not get drastic updates in 2020. However, the SUV gives drivers some new features to look forward to in the latest model year. This year, the SV trim gets more standard advanced safety aids. The same features that come standard on the SV are optional on the Murano S. All trim levels of the 2020 Nissan Murano stand out for their high-quality interiors, unique designs, and spacious back-row seats. The front seats also stand out for their exceptional comfort. Across the board, the 2020 Murano has a distinctive exterior design with dramatic angles and a coupe-style frame. Pleasant ride quality and user-friendly infotainment system are other highlights of the 2020 Nissan Murano.

2020 Murano has Varied Trim Levels & Countless Features
There are four trim levels available in the 2020 Nissan Murano. The base trim is called the S. Its notable features include 18-inch wheels with an aluminum alloy finish and an eight-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The S also has a multi-way adjustable driver's seat for premium comfort. The base trim has two USB charging ports, including a standard USB port in the front row and a USB-C charging port in the back row. It comes equipped with automatic emergency braking for exceptional safety.
The SV is the next trim in the 2020 Murano lineup. This trim features a more luxurious appearance with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and power-adjustable front-row seats. Black roof rails enhance this trim's exterior, and it comes with more standard safety technology.
The SL upgrades to larger 20-inch wheels. Leather seats are standard, and both rows enjoy heated seats. This trim also gets a heated steering wheel, an 11-speaker Bose sound system, and ambient interior lighting. It also has roof rails, but its rails are silver instead of black. LED fog lights are standard on the SL. Starting with this trim, you'll also get a hands-free power liftgate for convenience.
The top Murano trim is the Platinum. This trim level features premium leather seats with a quilted diamond material, ventilated front seats for maximum comfort, and a dual-pane moonroof. Along with these standard features, the Platinum also gets many add-on amenities at each trim level.
What's Under the Hood of the 2020 Nissan Murano?
All trim levels of the 2020 Nissan Murano share the same engine. They are driven by a 3.5L engine with 24 valves and six cylinders. This engine's top power output is 260 HP at 6,000 RPM. Its torque capacity is 240 LB-FT at 4,400 RPM. This engine runs on standard gasoline. While the engine is the same across the lineup, you have the option of getting either all-wheel-drive or front-wheel-drive as your choice of drivetrain. The engine is paired with Nissan's own CVT automatic transmission.
2020 Nissan Murano Safety Technologies
The Nissan Murano's volume of safety features advances as you move up in trim level. The S comes standard with automatic emergency braking. The SV adds the Safety Shield 360 package with additional driver-assist safety technologies. Crumple zones, tire pressure monitoring, and advanced airbags are also standard.
