What's New For the 2020 Nissan Altima?

The Nissan Altima is one of the most popular four-door sedans in the United States that has been in production since 1992. This reliable vehicle was completely remodeled in 2018 for the 2019 model year which marked the sixth-generation Altima. The 2020 Altima joins the sixth-generation of this model.

The 2020 Nissan Altima is the first of this model that makes the advanced safety features available on all trim levels. Aside from that, the only real change that was made to the Nissan Altima for the 2020 model year were changes to the interior colors on some of its mid to high level trims.

The trim levels on the 2020 Nissan Altima from lowest to highest include the S, SR, SV, SL, and Platinum trims. Standard features for all trim levels include an eight inch touchscreen infotainment system(with Apple Play and Android Auto compatibility), a rear view monitor, automatic emergency braking, and an intelligent forward collision warning system. The Premier trims include driver's seat memory, Intelligent All-Around monitors, and outside mirror memory.

2020 Nissan AltimaThe 2020 Nissan Altima offers two engine options depending on the trim level. The standard engine for this model is a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine that can produce a maximum of 188 horsepower. The other option is a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine that can produce up to 248 horsepower. Both engines, however, feature a continuously variable transmission for added fuel economy.
