What's New For the 2019 Nissan Maxima

The 2019 Nissan Maxima hits the market with a redesigned exterior and some new interior technology. The grille on the 2019 model is larger than in previous versions, and when paired with new LED headlights, it makes a strong impression. The taillights and the rear fascia have been slightly tweaked as well. New options in terms of design include 19-inch wheels and the Platinum Reserve package, which comes with a satin bronze interior trim, diamond-quilted leather, and four heated seats.

Finally, there are two versions at the high end of the spectrum: the Platinum and the Platinum Reserve. The Platinum comes with 19" x 8" machine-finished aluminum-alloy wheels, premium ascot leather-appointed seats, diamond quilted leather seat inserts, rear automatic braking, and a memory system that lets you save your settings for the positioning of the driver's seat, steering wheel, and outside mirrors. The Platinum Reserve wheels are a dark hyper silver color, and there are semi-aniline leather-appointed heated seats. The headliner is charcoal, and the interior is lined with a luxurious satin bronze trim.

With its advanced technology, the Maxima can start slowing down before your foot hits the brake pedal when it detects an upcoming collision or a pedestrian in front of the vehicle. Also, its sensors can alert you if another vehicle is in your blind spot, if an object is crossing behind you while you back out of a parking spot, and if you're about to drift over into a different lane. In addition, all of the 2019 vehicles come with Intelligent Driver Alertness.
