Sporty style starts with the brand-new 2017 Nissan Sentra, which now has a new NISMO model. The vehicle is the latest member to join the motorsports-inspired NISMO lineup and adds a variety of signature elements to the already well-equipped Sentra.

"For 2017, we're bringing new excitement to Sentra with the Sentra NISMO, which brings driving enthusiasts aftermarket tuner-style performance straight from the factory," said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc.

Underneath its hood, the Sentra NISMO is powered by a 188-horsepower 1.6-liter turbocharger that makes 177 pound-feet of torque. It is the same engine found in the Sentra SR Turbo. An Xtronic continuously variable automatic is standard, while a six-speed manual can be had as optional.

The car gets signature NISMO badging on its front and rear. It also comes with a rear spoiler and body kit that add to the car’s aerodynamic design. Other enhancements include a dark-chrome grille, dark-chrome handles, black mirror caps and red accents along the body kit. The 2017 Sentra NISMO is available in four colors: Brilliant Silver, Gun Metallic, Super Black and Aspen White.

Hop inside the sporty car and you’ll notice red accents on the car’s push-button starter, leather shifter, carpets and steering wheel.
